I wear my heated jacket while working construction during the winter in NYC. The jacket gets really warm-hot if used on high.

I use this (with heated gloves) when I have to clear snow from our driveway, hunting, fishing, and any place "cold" where there is no "physical" activity--like watching Bear games at Soldier Field in December!

My wife uses this also.

I bought this jacket as a surprise for my husband, who plays golf whenever he can, including in VERY cold weather. He loves his new jacket, which keeps him toasty warm for all 18 holes.

When used according to the directions works really well. Keeps my feet and hands warm by heating my torso. When the battery runs low, I start to feel cold in my hands and feet first.

Far exceeds expectations	December 13, 2008

Far exceeds expectations would sum up the Heated Jackets. My wife and I have used the jackets for four weeks now and have nothing but praise for the products. We are out hiking for one to two hours through open country two hours before dawn every day. My clothing, pre-heated jacket, consisted of a base layer long sleeved thermal undershirt, a thermal Turtle Neck shirt, a hooded sweat shirt, a Polar Fleece under jacket and a Gortex outer shell. When the jackets first arrived we substituted them for the Polar Fleece jacket but found we were too hot; not too warm; too hot. Slowly, but only because we could not believe this was possible, we shed layer by layer until now I am now able to walk very comfortably with just a long sleeved wicking runners shirt and the Heated Jacket. In rain or snow I add the Gortex Outer shell for protection. As I walk "hotter" than my wife I often walk without the jacket heating element in use, however, when I stop I cool down very fast so I turn on the jacket just before we stop and it keeps me warm whilst stationary. Recently at 5:30am we were hiking the top of a Bluff in temperatures of minus 20 Celsius with a 31kph wind taking the temperature down to minus 32 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit, 19mph, -26 Fahrenheit) I simply wore the long sleeved wicking runners shirt, the Heated Jacket on Low setting and Gortex shell and was fine. Even when we stopped for a break and managed to find a sheltered spot I only had to turn the jacket to Medium. It is such a pleasure to walk without all that bulk. Sincere congratulations on absolutely first class cost effective products that perform so well.

Great looking and feeling jacket. Really heats. On high battery lasts about 2.5.hours, so you need the second battery. Use the jacket under layers on very cold days, alone on cool days. Lovely.

My need for the jacket is my health. I have cancer, and my matabolism is such that I am very cold all the time. This jacket allows me full range of travelling without the discomfort of being cold (freezing).

Keeps my husband warm and cozy	November 8, 2008

My husband suffers from a chronic illness and has lost a lost of weight. Due to this he suffers a great deal of discomfort from the cold. This jacket is perfect for him to wear nearly anywhere he goes. When the weather is merely chilly this lightweight jacket is warm and comfy as is but when it recently turned quite cold for a few days, he was able to use the heat feature and stay warm and comfortable without having to pull out his heavy, bulky coat. This is a great idea!
