Sizing: -Measuring yourself for size.

For Vests – use larger of Waist, Chest or Hips measurement.
For Jackets - use larger of Vest measurements and Sleeve Length measurement for sizing.

Chest/ Waist/ Hips: Measure just under arms and across the shoulder blades, holding the tape firm and level. Waist: use your natural waistline measurement. Use the larger of your chest, waist or hips measurement.
Sleeve Length: As shown in the photos here, with arm relaxed at your side and slightly bent, measure from center back neck, over point of shoulder, down the outside of the arm to the wrist. If between sizes, order next larger size.

How to use the chart below? The chart shows body dimensions so you should select a size that has larger dimensions than your body. Body measurement dimensions are in inches.
For example, if you measure 45” around the hips you should buy an LARGE size as the MEDIUM would be too tight. Please note this is a BODY size chart not a GARMENT size chart.
(Note: These sizes only apply to ActiVHeatÒ garments purchased from this website. ActiVHeat garments purchased from our retail partners such as Brookstone.com are different sizing and you should check with the retailer for more details.)
If you are between 2 sizes, consider ordering both sizes, and return the one that doesn’t fit for a full credit for the product. (Please note: you will be responsible for all applicable shipping fees). You may return or exchange the second unused garment, for a prompt refund. This will save you the delay of sending back a single garment and then waiting for the exchange garment to be sent out to you. Please be aware that it is very easy to exchange for size, so if you do order an incorrect size, please follow the procedures below so that we can arrange an exchange. To expedite the process and save on shipping fees, many customers choose to order 2 sizes and then send back the size that doesn’t fit.

Return Policies:
· Product may not be returned unless it is defective or for sizing exchange.
· Defect Exchange. Product may be returned for warranty exchange if defective pursuant to our Warranties below.
· Sizing Exchange. Garment may be returned for exchange for another sized garment. All items must be in the condition you received them, in original packaging, including all parts and packaging and must not be “used”.
· Soiled Garments. Upon the absolute discretion of our Service Department, garments returned for sizing that are very mildy soiled (hair, fibers) but are deemed to be saleable as new if cleanable with a lint brush may be accepted for return and subject to a “cleaning” service fee of $15. Heavily soiled garments may not be returned for sizing exchange or refund. To avoid this fee please ensure your returned garments are as clean as you received them.
· Credit Card Refund only available for —Buy 2 return 1. Garment may only be returned for a refund if it is one of 2 sized garments of the same value purchased together .
· Time Limits on Exchange. Exchange returns must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
· Shipping, insurance and handling fees will not be refunded for returns.
All returns, repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance using a Return Authorization (RA) Number. A Return Authorization Number (RA) is required prior to shipping your package back to us. Please note: returns/exchanges will not be accepted without an RA number .

ATTENTION!: Please be prepared to describe:
1. The Controller Serial number found on the back of the controller
2. The Item Catalog number found on the garment package,
3. The date and location you purchased the item (a purchase receipt is required); and
4. The nature of the reason you wish to return the product (sizing exchange or details of defect).

Also, before being instructed to return any item you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Please make sure to include this number on the form. Items returned without an RA number will not be accepted.
After receiving your item, if applicable, our Service Department will notify you the results and of any additional costs (via phone or email) that may not be covered by your warranty. Most returns, repairs and service will be processed & completed within 14 business days after we receive the item, however, service options, parts availability and response times will vary especially during December and January.
You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to our authorized service center, per our instructions.
Please note that exchanges will be sent out after receiving the item from your original order. Unless prepaid via check, additional charges for shipping will be charged to the credit card used for the original purchase, as will any price differentials for the new item. For returns where you have purchased 2 identical items and send one back, we issue a refund for the sales invoice amount less shipping & handling costs.
In case the item you purchased requires repairs or service BUT is no longer covered by the warranty, contact our Service Department for information regarding the cost of repair and parts.

Warranties
ActiVHeat Garment One (1) Year Limited Warranty.
Every ActiVHeat garment is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. The garment, when purchased from Adventive IDEAS LLC is warranted against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from date of purchase by the original purchaser ("Garment Warranty Period"). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Garment Warranty Period, at its option, Adventive IDEAS will either 1) repair the defect, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the garment with a new garment that is at least functionally equivalent to the original garment.
ActiVHeat Battery Pack Ninety (90) Day Limited Warranty.
The Battery Pack included with this ActiVHeat garment is warranted against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of NINETY (90) DAYS from date of purchase by the original purchaser ("Battery Warranty Period"). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Battery Warranty Period, Adventive IDEAS will either 1) repair the defect using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the defective Battery Pack with a new or refurbished Battery Pack that is at least functionally equivalent to the original Battery Pack.

Limits and Exclusions
A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Adventive IDEAS, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or part. When an item is exchanged, any replacement product or part becomes your property and the replaced product or part becomes Adventive IDEAS' property.
Coverage under both the Garment Warranty and the Battery Pack Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands.
These Limited Warranties apply only to products that can be identified by the "ActiVHeat" logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non- ActiVHeat products. Both warranties do not apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product's use, washing instructions or the installation of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not authorized by Adventive IDEAS; d) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability.
The Garment Warranty does not apply to a Battery Pack being an item intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product.
ADVENTIVE IDEAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ADVENTIVE IDEAS DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF ADVENTIVE IDEAS CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY.
Some states disallow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
