  • What are high drain batteries? - This heated product pulls the energy out of the battery very quickly. Batteries designed for high power digital cameras or heated clothing release their energy quickly. Examples include ActiVHeat custom rechargeable battery packs and Energizer Lithium AA batteries.
  • What if my batteries are not high-drain? If the battery is not designed to release energy quickly it will overheat, lose its charge quickly and the heated item will only heat for a few minutes before the battery stops working. Examples include "long-life" AA batteries such as Duracell Coppertop, Energizer Alkaline and most store-brand batteries.
  • Due to inconsistent results with some low drain AA batteries, we strongly recommend you choose a version including at least one of our custom lithium battery packs.
